Our Aircraft
The Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain, commonly known as the Navajo, is the mainstay aircraft for transportation in Interior and Arctic Alaska.
It has two-engines, retractable landing gear, and a large cabin area that can be converted from a commuter cabin to a cargo carrier quickly and easily. The Chieftain has a maximum range of approximately 4 hours and 800 miles.
Air Arctic Chieftains, all operated by Warbelow's Air Ventures, are configured to carry up to 9 passengers and have an average payload of 1500 pounds.
The ample floor space, easily removable seats, broad, well placed cabin doors and nose and wing baggage compartments make it versatile aircraft for transporting passengers, cargo or a combination of both.
Our Fairbanks-based Chieftains are ideal for small groups traveling with modest amounts of gear or groups of 2 - 3 with a lot gear.
